No, its definitely egocentricity, taking it for granted it must be me people are talking about, as opposed to worried about what people are talking .

Either way, I'm going back to my hole now.

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, eh?

    - You wonder if the insanely egocentric AND paranoid Titan, Monolith etc Drexer is still not in prison.

    - You gave up holding your breath that Karl Beattie would ever come forward and state that the whole "I'm a samurai" thing was a joke.

Who can forget Beattie. He now has a TV channel dedicated to the paranormal. I guess it is his career he is trying to find in haunted pubs.

Also knowing which part of e-budo you know where this goes in when you read the first line:

    - You post in the Shorinji Kempo threads, even though you have never practiced Shorinji Kempo.

Was that for practicing Shorinji Kempo, or posting on the SK threads?

    For posting there.

The closest I've come to practicing SK is watching an embu at the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival.

    - You remember when the GKR thread was about a pyramid-scheme marketing syle made up by someone who signed his own grading certificates; and not how the JKA is the root of all karate evil.

    - You start fretting because it's December and Dr. Stupid hasn't put in an appearance yet.

    - You miss troll season.

-When you want to know what's happening in the world and you end up on E-budo instead of CNN...

I recently had a dream where I was applying the techniques of the Shotokan kata Kanku-dai (Kushanku to you Shuri-te folks) for self defense. And I've never seen them done that way before!

... When the voices say in your head "Welcome back. Have you missed us?"

And when that happens I cower in the corner.

When that happens, I always say "Of course! Where on earth have you been?" But there's a reason that my jacket has sleeves that wrap around the back.

My opinion is, in all likelihood, worth exactly what you are paying for it.
