Default Hakko ryu dojo/Dennis Palumbo contact info in Colorado?

Hello. Does anyone have contact info for Dennis Palumbo`s Hakko ryu dojo in the Denver area? Or where ever it might be? To expand, does anyone have contact info for ANY Hakko Ryu school in the Denver, Colorado Springs, area, or well, really anywhere from Santa Fe to Denver along the I25 corridor?
    How about Dallas/Ft Worth area?
    thanks, michael rogers

Hello. Thanks for the PMs on this. I think I should clarify that I am not looking for a dojo to join. I am going to be visiting this area and wanted to observe a Hakko Ryu class. I mentioned Dennis Palumbo because I have seen his books on Hakko Ryu and I think he is in that area.

Just to follow up on my post. I just talked to Mr. Palumbo on the phone. He has had to close his Hakko Ryu dojo due to personal reasons. So that's the end of this thread.

    Michael,

If you don't already know about this, here's a Hakko-ryu dojo in the Denver area.

Default I too need to speak with Dai Sensei Polumbo

    MaikeruRogers,

I am when of Dai Sensei Polumbo's black belt, living in Aurora Colorado. I am now living in New York City; I emailed Dai Sensei Polumbo but received an error message that the email was not deliverable. I then called Dai Sensei's Dojo but came to find out it is no longer active. Also I called Dai Sensei's home phone, but the line has been disconnected. Does any one know how I can contact my Sensei? This is very important to me.

    Thank you

    Peter,

You may contact the Suigetsu Dojo. He was still teaching seminars there as of last year.

    Hello,

After the Fall seminar 2007 held in Aurora, Co. I was informed that all contacts for Palumbo Shihan should go through the Dojo in New York and Masi Shihan.

Default HMAF and Shihan Dennis Palumbo

    Hello all,

As of September, 2008, Dai Sensei Dennis Palumbo has semi-retired, closed the Hakkosen Dojo, and now teaches privately (only his senior students).

He has authorized Shihan Dara Masi, of Suigetsu Dojo, to handle all administration of the Hakkoryu Martial Arts Federation. Masi Shihan will continue to work closely with Palumbo Shihan (who continues as President of HMAF) on all matters regarding the Hakkoryu Martial Arts Federation.

More information can be found on the HMAF Website, including information about the upcoming Gasshuku, to be held in New York, July 24-26, 2009.

If you wish more information, please send email to HMAFinfo@aol.com.

    regards,
    Melanie Fine

FWIW i think if the OP ends up near a mat with a Hakko derivative on it, he should get on it, he'll learn a lot more rather than watching it.
