    Does he?

OMG XMA hair. Watch my hair flip out with a Screaming Sai and Nunchuck double back flip and splits routine.

Well, it's easy to find this stuff online..
    XMA at Youtube.com
So, it's basically like dance done with a more Karate like feel right? No real problems with that..I'm not doing it. But if they want to do this instead of basic dance more power to them..
At least they don't lie about their lineage or make up stories about how many generations of Japanese or Chinese have hidden their secret art..
It could be far worse than this..

You know what i really hate about this XMA crap, is that when they have it on espn2 the announcers talk it up like it's serious or something. As is they don't know that its a big joke and a discrace.

To me, it looks like this:
    1. People are bored or want to show off
    2. They take something that they do and put an "X"treme in front of it to fix the above problem.
    3. The rest of us laugh our butts off...

I'm sure they are all very physically fit and everything. But...having just watched a guy called Leonard prance about like a gay sailor on shore leave in San Francisco, I think I'll give it a miss.

    Angry Dance class

I think that XMA has as much to do with real martial arts as Bud k has to do with classical sword forging.

XMA people can do backflips all day, but when they punch or block their shoulders are tight and hunched, their accuracy is non-existant, and their rythm is totally off.

Also, all of those flying/spinning kicks that they do are telegraphed and I get the feeling that they have no power.

What they do is clearly ingata, not kata.
