    It's been a while, looking back at the post, I had forgotten my reason for posting this at all. The "original reason" has gone away - either because I am more flexible, or technique has improved.

    Truth be told, any remaining lack of flexibility (and there is plenty) - comes down to bad habits.

    Best way to kick bad habits is to create good ones. Try and keep fit by going for a walk each day or training.
