    Hi Deborah,

Yup your right there. , I'm not in the club. But I suppose you have a point about the balance or as someone said to me once "sh!t forms an integral part of the marketplace" ;-)

    Yours in budo

There's an "in" club at every forum, including this one. The people at KW are typically extremely accomodating to sincere beginners. It's just the constant stream of backyard samurai that post there seeking validation that drive the regulars bonkers. It's wierd, you don't see them very much here. I think the real name rule and the more formal nature of this forum scare them off a little. They do crop up at swordforum routinely, but then a large proportion of the swordforum members are people who buy cheap swords and don't train formally, so you kind of expect it there.

Why are you reading this instead of being out training? No excuses accepted...

    Hi Neil,

Having read KW quite a bit I would say that the people who frequent both KW and Ebudo seem to be the amongst the small precentile that offer genuine advice with humility. Andy Watson is another that springs to mind, as does Chidokan generally despite the "KW roll eyes response" - obviously there are many others.

Thread drift aside, KW is back online so unsubscribe to this thread.

I actually joined KW to enjoy the positives from the anonimity - but have found that many a d'head hides behind their alias. A real name policy keeps things a lot more civil - err, generally

    Cheers

    Jason

I wish we could do randori at our Dojo. Looks fun!

I tend to look at it as the lightweight version of here, it's more of a 'lounge' environment and less technical. And I get to use excessive emotes. Which I would never do on here.

    oh dear,

it seem someone has disliked my comment enough to post a neg rep. Oh, but didn't say who sent the lovely little message. You know my name - what is yours ?

To the person concerned - thank you, you have just confirmed my thoughts.

Go back under your hole ya goose.

    okay,

For a giggle here is the comment. I kinda imagined it said like Jim Careys character in the Cable Guy where he said " don't get too close to the flame or you might get burnt by the molten laa-vaa"

    so, here it is...
