Drat Brian, you caught my slip-up. Tobi-komi jun-geri I think we might have called it.

If I recall, we called it mae tobi geri in Karate-do Shito Ryu Hayashi-ha.

The confusion between it and yoko tobi geri is understandable in this case; the patch isn't exactly great and precise artwork.

A Chinese word, "Ky" (whatever that is) and Japanese terminology? The mind boggles!!

KY? As in the lubricant? For those two figures, they may as well need them.

I thought "what a strange organization" until I stumbled across this bit ...
Wu Shu Ky is registered with the English Karate Federation, the British Karate Assosiation, the World Karate Federation and with Juko Kai.

And this one is equally baffling.

It looks like a mixture of made up stuff and haphazzard katakana with a poorly written 空手 at the bottom of the left-hand column.

Makes you wonder what they thought they were writing.

I see the school is run by 3 san dans and no seniors."fully qualified to teach karate" They can do warm ups and kihon drills but way to low to operate without a master instructor at least checking on them occasionally.

I noticed that one guy has his hand on his gut instead of the koiguchi during a strange batto.

Maybe "Wu Shu Ky" only has three dan levels, and these guys are the grand masters.
