my daughter's favorite position, during week one
she slept in Jumongi no Kamae.
Upon awakening, her first act is stretching as in
Ten Chi & Hira Ichimongi

It is cool to observe her naturall movements!!

It's like yoga. everyone does it, few are aware they do it.
then someone comes up and calls it an art. gotta love it.

You have a beautiful baby-daughter b.t.w.

cheers! C.

... and Mas Oyama used a Kosei no Kamae in his Kyokushinkai, called it "ryuhen".

And I'm pretty sure I've seen the Village People using "Hoko no kamae" in the YMCA music video..
Although that is probably as far from "natural" as anyone would care to get...

Default thanks

the positive remarks are welcomed ;
alongside the smire remarks.
In Regards to the smire remarks- i must tell my boss i need more time off, so i have time to demeanor topics and posts on the www.

Later in life, "all of the demeanor" will be placed in a book and sold for huge profits both finanically and of course in my Taijutsu training??

Is it *Natural* to respond to worthless responses?

Merry Christmas to everyone

Or not..
If you took offense then I apologise...I thought the original post was a joke..

Default it's all about perspective

I don't think it's that he can't laugh at himself...
This is a new father expressing (in his own way), his joy at watching his newborn baby girl and thrill at re-discovering natural movement by doing so.

Although I'm sure the posters in question did not intend it as such, when viewed from the perspective of the new father, it is easy to understand why John may have felt that joking comments were not only at his, but also his new daughters expense. Over-protective maybe, but how many new fathers can honestly say that they aren't??? My first child is still 4 months away and already I'm willing to discourage (in a violent way) anyone from even looking at him or her the wrong way.

John... I think it's great that you are able to learn from your daughter and I hope that when mine arrives I can do the same and share in your obvious feelings of joy.
