What happened to my avatar?

I used to have a nic pic of the piranha from the comic strip Piranha Club/Ernie as my avatar. Having been abscent from e-budo for quite a while, I found him somewhat... blurred. Really, this version is kind of cool and I think I'll keep it. I just wonder if anyone has a clue as to what happened?

Thank you! Still no good explanation, but at least it is not an isolated phenomenon with just my avatar (which would have been very strange).

My avatar has disapeared, I can't edit my post nor can I make modifications in my User CP. Is this a general problem ?

It seems my avatar is back and I can make changes in my User CP using the provided link, but I still can't edit my posts. Is this due to the current problems or is this something else altogether? Do you think using the new IE 7 version browser has anything to do with those problems ?
