Default Is Hontai Takagi Yoshin Ryu the same as Hontai Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu?

Sorry if this is a really basic question but I am still pretty new to this.

Is the Hontai Takagi Yoshin Ryu that the Genbukan teaches elements of (and I believe that Tanemura Sensei is the head of) the same as the Hontai Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu? If so does anyone know where the line split? I only ask because the non-Genbukan Jujutsu practitioners who study this Ryu seem to be from a completely different geneology.

Whoa. Ok that thread was a little bit confusing.

So if I have it right there is a link between the two and the split happened in the 1600's when someone named Minaki sensei divided the ryu? Do I have that right?
