    Default bullshido's article on Bujinkan.

I wondered if anyone has read !!!!!!ido's article on Bujinkan and what people think of it.(http://www.!!!!!!ido.com/articles/ninjutsu.html)
I study one year BBT right now and I really wonder if any of the things said in this article is true, but I really doubt it. I am also pretty mad about the fact that they say that our techniques are unrealistic.

So could anyone please tell me if you should believe one word said in this article?

Things can rarely be put in one of two "True" "False" boxes.

One of the best things you can do to help you learn Bujinkan faster and more skillfully is to start making up your own mind.

I find that most damage is done when people start defending the Bujinkan with bad arguments.

That is about the most sensible thing anyone has said for months.

I am as guilty as anyone of doing this though.

Well, it's pretty hard for me to write my arguments in English because I'm Belgian.

    Hi Dieter,

Sorry, you misunderstand, we are not saying that you argue badly, we mean that people generally don't argue the case for Bujinkan very well.

The people at this particular website you mentioned have their own agenda and it seems to make them happy so there's no harm in it.

    hey Dieter,

If you want any info on BBT in belgium, I suggest you pm Achim Steigert he's from belgium -and he's a shodan in BBT-.

    Veel succes in elk geval.

P.S.: !!!!!!ido.com has become more of a daycarecenter for disgruntled MMA folk whining about how unfair it is that TMA are still around. The only things that count over there are your competition record and the amount of swearwords in you vocabulary. So don't bother about them. Aliveness and Competition are essential to MA as far as I'm concerned, but these geezers take it a tad to far...

    Cheers, en tot de volgende,

    Christophe.

    Regards,
    Christophe van Eysendyck.

I live at Temse and I train with Danny Roels in Sint-Niklaas. And I have seen your site, and I must say that it's a very informative site.

The article is pretty much accurate from the common knowledge perspective. Although the tone is a bit annoying, the points are for the most part right.

    Sorry.

So you mean the techniques aren't realistic? What techniques then? Because most of the techniques do work.

Based on what? Go to a local MMA club and try your moves on them.

PS. I am not arguing with the effectiveness. You have to know when a tool is useful and when it isn't. Most people 1 year into this art don't... Hell, most people in this art for a decade don't know the difference either...
