Kaminoda Tsunemori (Shindo Muso Ryu Menkyo Kaiden, Jodo Hachidan/Hanshi), president and chief instructor of the Nihon Jodokai (Japanese Jodo Association), held Gasshuku in Alexandria, VA, at the Capital Area Jodokai and in Milwaukee, WI, at the Great Lakes Jodokai this past August after a 7-year hiatus from visiting the US.

Kaminoda-sensei has just announced the schedule for the next Kashima Friendship Jodo Gasshuku in Japan at Kashima Shimbuden from Saturday, 3 November, through Tuesday, 6 November; the Gasshuku includes a demonstration at nearby Kashima Jingu (Grand Shrine), and a visit to the grave of Tsukahara Bokuden (the sword saint of Kashima Shrine).
Training will include Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo and it ancillary arts as well as ZNKR Iaido and Jodo. The registration deadline is 15 October.
