    Default Kenjutsu near Baltimore/DC?

I'm new to Japanese sword arts and want to take up kenjutsu, but can't seem to find a dojo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Rick,
I can highly recommend Dave Drawdy sensei, who teaches Nakamura ryu at the Capital Area Budokai ... http://www.capitalareabudokai.org/battodoiaido.html

He also runs a Mugai ryu study group.

Thanks, I'll have to take a look. It'd be nice to find some place closer, though, since I already have to do 1 1/4 hour drives to Herndon for Chinese martial arts. But I'll drop by Capital Area Budokai when I open up some time.

    Richard,

I'm moving to the Frederick, MD, area in a few weeks. I've been checking for koryu dojo in the area and it seems to be a target-rich environment. I'll compile some of the info I've found and post it later today (it's early morning here in Germany ...).
