Default Two Kashima Shinto ryu video clips

Kashima Shinto ryu is rarely seen online but here are two clips:
    KSR Clip 1
    KSR Clip 2

Poor quality but its better than nothing.

By the way, the singing in the first clip..In the words of Seinfield: "Whats up with that?" Is it a sort of prayer or the national anthem?

Oh and while were discussing rarely filmed arts, why not some Maniwa nen ryu:

I can play all on MAC using FireFox or Safari. I think you might be missing a plugin!

You need to install Flip4Mac plugin http://www.flip4mac.com/download.htm

This plugin will allow you to play all windows media files using any of the browsers you mentioned with a MAC and it is FREE!

If you haven't I would also suggest installing a DivX plugin too!

The same YouTube uploader has put up another video of KSR.

Same quality I'm afraid, but I'm not complaining

You'll notice that the video you just posted contains more than just Kashima Shinto Ryu. Right after the KSR finishes, there is a brief clip of some Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage practitioners performing the second of our habiki (steel sword) kata (they are the ones in all white). Next comes a jujutsu style that I can't recognize, followed by some naginata work, and finally Katori Shinto Ryu. Interestingly, the katori part of the video has already been posted, in higher quality, here:

    David Sims

"Cuius testiculos habes, habeas cardia et cerebellum." - Terry Pratchet

My opinion is, in all likelihood, worth exactly what you are paying for it.

I didnt watch the whole thing before I posted. I only saw the KSR amidst my drooling.

By the way, that clip you posted..The first few seconds show two naginata wielders agains't each other. What ryuha is that?

Yes. That is Michael Hudson demonstrating Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage-ryu. I just talked to him last month.

That's Kent Sorensen and Nakamura Yoichi demonstrating Toda-ha Buko-ryu Naginatajutsu.

    I hope that helps.
