So that really was Shimizu Sensei in the clip!?
I guess that means Hiroi sensei got his trademark twirl from Shimizu Sensei

    *edit*

So whats the name of the uchidachi? I'm guessing its the tall fellow to the right of Shimizu Sensei.

Shimizu Sensei doing Kodachi no Ran-ai (Kuroda Sensei is uchidachi):

As I said before it's quite clearly Shimizu. I can't imagine why anybody would think it was Hiroii (two iis BTW) or Relnick in the video. You just have to watch their body movement Everybody is different.

More accurately than any so called 'twirls' (it's actually called maru-uchi) is his distinctive shuffle back during Ran-Ai rather than doing two clear steps - See around 15 secs into the Kodachi no Ranai vid on Utube.

If the issue was "quite clear(ly)" then noone would have
suggested Hiroii Sensei to begin with now would they?
You would be surprised how many people I've seen who have thought the shidachi to be Hiroii Sensei.

So be it, Shimzu it is - next topic - does any one have any clips with Hiroi Sensei - I would prefer to see some with the better known Sensei - the one spelt with one "i" that features in the book Jodo Gihou - translated by Peter Boylan.
