    Ron:

I am starting a new international organization-> A.A. : Aikiweb Anonymous to help us through these periods of intense withdrawal symptoms related that site being down

Friends don't let friends use aikiweb. Didn't your mother or sensei ever tell you that?

Don't miss "saucepan" as we called him. Guess he's not changed since he used to post here.

Hi Ron, long time, hope all is well.

No, but my mother did tell me that sometimes you have to drop your pants and slide on the ice. Unfortunately I never quite figured out what that meant...

Here I am supposedly getting ready for the San Fran Token Kai but instead I'm clicking on your sig link to your blog. Read the article about Bernie. Which got me thinking of all my wife's family in Keaau. It's been too long -- I need to spend a few weeks in Hilo again getting fat on lau lau and hiking in Waipio.

Hmmm, the family goes back a *loong* time in Hilo. I wonder if they might have any old photos of the Cow Palace. Probably not, but I'll have to ask...

    Aloha `oe!

Perhaps the outage is due to the rumor that I heard that Dan, Mike and Akuzawa Sensei were in one room making a "secrets of Aiki" video and as they uploaded it to the AikiWeb server...

    poof!

Too much Aiki, all at the same time, perhaps?

The world was having none of it

I too have been frustrated at not being able to get to it (Aikiweb).
In fact I was just complaining about it to my wife as I scrolled down to this thread!!
would be very appreciative for any updates anyone has/ comes by.

    many thanks.

I just got on. The "New Posts" and "Active Topics: Last Day" features aren't working, but you can go to individual threads.

Could be Jun decided folks were spending too much time on the internet and not enough time in the dojo, so he took the site down for awhile.

Actually, it appears to be back online now.
