Karate is not about fighting but is about making you a better person.

If you practice Kata you will get good at fighting

To get better you must constantly do basics

Kata has deep and hidden meaning

It takes a lifetime to master Karate

Almost anything to do with ki or chi regarding its unseen, unexplained effects on your opponent and you.

Also the ability to cause someone actual harm through kiai (with the exception of shouting directly into their ear)

I have not posted for awhile, but had to smile at this. Certain manufacturers I have noticed do not preshrink. Although "Don't" is a pretty strong work, I would strongly encourage you to read the little tags before laundering MA belts.
