Default FindAGrave entry for Ueshiba - Need a new grave-manager

    Greetings!
A few years ago I took over the responsibility for Ueshiba Morihei Sensei's grave-site online on "FindAGrave" dot com. I did this as a sign of respect for O-Sensei as I used to train Aikido.

But now I feel I may not be the best person to expand and maintain the entry in question. So therefore I am asking anyone here, who is a registered member of FindAGrave dot com, to take over the "stewardship" of O-Sensei's grave online.

If you are willing then please PM me and I'll transfer the management of the FindAGrave entry to you.

    All the best!
    /Fred

There has been no replies on the subject. Allright, fair enough. I will do my best to maintain the memorial and possibly expand it somewhat (though not by much). I'm not gonna turn it into a flamboyant egotistical version of a memorial, but maybe just a bit more info on the man and his legacy.

I found FindaGrave.com and searched for Ueshiba, but could not find it. Is it in a special part of the website, not available to everyone?

    Ah yes thats the one!

As you can see there isn't much info on the page. I still haven't been able to gain access to aikiweb forums in order to ask for a proper guardian of the page in question. Apparently there is some sort of hardware problems as of right now.

Mr. Goldsbury: I'm willing to give you the control of the Find-a-grave post if you are willing to accept it. All you have to do is register an account at the site and I'll transfer control over to you.

I do not think anyone else will be as perfect for the position of "guardian" than you, sir!

    Hello Mr Hall,

    Happy New Year!

I attempted to access the site because I am a moderator here. AikiWeb at present has hardware issues, but should be back online before too long. I suggest you ask there first.

In that case I'll ask at the website once I get the confirmation email

Happy new year to you too!
