Default Matsuyo-han Muso Jikiden Ryu Iai

    Yes, correct.... without "Eishin" apparently.

Quite interesting. Kata are similar to MJER but with different features (e.g. more thrusts).

Does anyone know more about it? The explanation of the lady in the beginning is not very detailed...

The right spelling is Matsushiro, a small fief:

That's seemingly a line of the school handed down outside of Tosa-han (maybe from another student of Hasegawa Hidenobu); I see also similarities with Tamiya Ryu, quite interesting...

Thanks Wakimono. Yes, did a spelling mistake with the Kanji...

    Question

I find curious the man performing was announced as "shinan'yaku", an archaic term for a domain's head instructor...
