Jun over at Aikiweb posted earlier this evening that Don Modesto had passed away last Sunday. Though I believe I'd met the man once or twice at Aikido Shobukan dojo in the 1990's, I am very saddened to learn of his passing. ASU has lost a couple of really excellent instructors recently.
