Hello to everyone, my name is Giuseppe I am writing from Italy, and this is my first post here. I used trained in many martial arts, but right now my interest is for BUDO TAJ JIUTSU, I used take some lesson, but I have got some doubt regards THE KAMAE. I noticed that some kamae, have got different name, but seem to me the same thing, o the contrary are the same name but are completely different. Then here is some questions.

1-Are ichimonji(GYOKKO RYU), an Seigan(KOTO RYU) the same thing?
2-Are Hira no kamae (GYOKKO RYU), and Shizen no kamae the same thing?
3- Are Ichimonjii and Icho no kamae the same thing?
I read a thread about Gyokko ryu
http://www.e-budo.com/forum/showthre...okko-Ryu-Kamae
where is said that ICHIMONJI, JUMONJII AND HICHO are the fundamental kamae in Gyokko ryu,
but moreover if ichimonjii, jumonjii and hicho are the fundamental kamae in Gyokko ryu, why
in this video about GYOKKO RYU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ExPKO2w1RU
are showed also others kamae.

BODY,S WEIGHT AND FOOTWORK.
KAMAE BODY’S WEIGHT MOVEMENT
Ichimonjii backward backward naname ushiro
Jumonjii at center- forward forward

but always in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ExPKO2w1RU you can see Hatsumi
in Jumonjii with the body’s weight at backward min. 6:56 o ichimonjii with the body’s weight forward first minutes of the video.
