Default Brave men intervention saves train passengers

The passengers of the train Amsterdam-Paris were lucky enough to have between them Air Force airman Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler, from California, and British national Chris Norman, three heroes who topped the attack of a terrorist

The article I read stated that the blade was a box cutter. Those are horrific - can turn an arm to hamburger in seconds. Alek Skarlatos (one of the National Guardsmen who took out the attacker) was seriously sliced on the back of the neck and had a thumb nearly severed, and still helped take the guy down.

A lot of the early reports were subject to inaccuracies (many of the headlines referred to "Marines"), so it is good to find a WIKI page has collected the verified facts together. From there, it appears that Spencer Stone was the man to sustain the box cutter injuries to neck and thumb. All three were rightly hailed as heroes, but we now know that there were several others who also tried (less successfully) to tackle the assailant..

Yes, I've since read several articles, and each had different "facts"... :P
