    Default Was Budo Ever Pure?

People argue about what constitutes “real budo” as if there was some point in history when budo was pure, pristine and perfect. I argue that such a time never was. That's the point of this blog post.

Your essay pointed out the essence: that the "purity" comes from the individual; budo is only the vehicle for bearing the human heart and its motivations.
