Hello everyone!
I really need help to understanding a concept that I found in the book "Traditions: Essays on the Japanese Martial Arts and Ways", by Dave Lowry,
It's about the concept of "Ryomi". Lowry describes Ryomi as follows (page 11):
"Ryomi is an intense, ongoing process of self-evaluation for the martial artist or anyone else who hopes to make something worthwhile of his life."
I'm having trouble because I don't find the same term in other sources, and in this particular case the author does not put the kanji for search.
Thank you,
Caio
