The Hakkeikan, headquarters for Hontai Hakkei Ryu Aikijujutsu, has recently moved to a new location which is now its hombu dojo.

The dojo is now at 845 S. 55th St., Philadelphia, PA

Hontai Hakkei Ryu AJJ is a comprehensive art, embracing both taijutsu and bukiho, with solid roots in koryu and neo-classical bugei. The generational head, Salahuddin Muhammad, oversees the Hakkeikan as well as a number of established study groups in the US and Canada.

The curriculum at the hombu dojo includes aikijujutsu, Kodokan judo, and a children's jujutsu class. Anyone in the Philadelphia area is welcome to inquire about classes at the hombu dojo, via the e-mail address in the short video clip below. The study groups follow the Hontai Hakkei Ryu Aikijujutsu curriculum and are based in New York City; Allentown, PA; Boston, MA; and Toronto, ON. There will be future opportunities in Atlanta, GA as well. Individuals in those areas can also contact the organization by e-mail about joining a study group.
