Default Old Meets New: Takeuchi ryu and BJJ

Stephan Kesting at Grapplearts has interviewed Alex Kask of Bichu Den Takeuchi-ryu a few times. I enjoy the comparison and contrasting without the typical "us vs. them" BS that you see from both traditional and modern camps. Good stuff!

    Kit,

Thanks, I hadn't known about those.

Haven't been able to log in to e-budo from my computer but as it turns out it still works on my old laptop. Glad to see that you are posting.

Takenouchi-ryu is one of the oldest jujutsukoryu in Japan. Takenouchi Ryu is actually a complete martial art including armed grappling, staff, sword, sword drawing, glaive, iron fan, restraining rope, and resuscitation techniques.
