Thread: Good Sayings

    Smile Good Sayings

It is with envy I have read the good sayings at the end of most peoples postings.

I have been wanting to find one of my own, I have tried to find something philisophical but to no avail.

Today I saw a 'T' shirt with what I was looking for.
It sums me up a treat.

    Stephen,
That's what my ex said as she went out the door

My favorite is one attributed to Jigoro Kano, and does sort of say something similar.

"Learn from the mistakes of others. You may not live long enough to make them all yourself."

Geez, there is never enough time.

    I like that one Mark.
My favourite is one I saw in a Kendo book 20 years ago.
I have lived my life by it.

To ask is but a moments shame - but not to ask and remain ignorant is a lifelong shame.

I can not remember who said it.

ben, i thought your name looked familiar. no i left the judo-l long time ago, some of the list members would tick me off with their attitude, that unless you do judo your not worth a crap. judo is my thrid art to reach shodan or higher. but i did get my black belt under louis lopez last week. he and jim haynes tested me. maybe i will try judo-l again how do i get there?
