What does ko to ei re mean?
These are all the syllables as I've seen it in english. Alt. spelling is koto eiri.
Could there be a pun, or double meaning? Does candle, light or dark have any possible meaning in the kanji one might use to write it?
    Thanks,

    Steve,

Without the kanji it would just be a guess, but here is something that may help:

"koto" can mean "breath", "life", acheivement", uncommon, or "harp".
"eiri" can mean "sharpness", or "money making".
