Default Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu / ShiranuiRyu

There is an original video anime called Rurounin Kenshin (do not confuse with the tv anime series a.k.a. Samurai X) that despicts the life of Himura Kenshin of the Hiten MitsurugiRyu.

It seems that this character is based on Kawakami Gensan of the ShiranuiRyu.

Is it true?

If so, i would like to know more about him and his style.

Thanks in advance!

Default Seem that before

My point is:

Was there a KawaKami Gensan?
Is there a ShiranuiRyu sword school?

If so, they have any conection with the anime character?

How can i find out about these?

But thanks for the attempt

Mr. Costa (is this your name?),

Please do not post anime questions in this forum.

If you'd like to know about anime, it would be best to ask those on a fantasy forum or the creator themselves. They would be better suited to answer such questions.

Thanks for you cooperation,
