There is a jujutsu technique called kakarite, anyone know the nelson number and meaning of this?

The 'te' part is probably that for 'hand'. Many jujutsu techniques are named similarly.

WWWJDIC turns up two matching kanji for 'kakari'. One is "person in charge; connection; duty; concern oneself", and is Nelson 449 (Unicode 4fc2). The other is "hang; suspend; depend; arrive at; tax; pour", and is Nelson 1952 (Unicode 693b). The latter is probably what you want.

So it might mean "hanging hand". I don't know the technique. Would that name make sense?

Thanks. That does seem to be it or at least it would make sense.
It has to do with using you pinky/last three digits to relax and create pressure for various locks and off balancing. That's just my take but that seems correct. Take care.
