Which time are you referring to?
Take a look at his previous posts. His tone is condescending and he very rarely has anything positive to say.
You bitter over something or just an !!! in general?
Maybe you should read this message on George Ohashi's site, then...
Congrats to Dale! I had a chance to meet him at the last Atlanta TK. Definitely a class act...
Regarding your blurb on Hayes, he is not (and has not been for some time) the senior practitioner in the Bujinkan in the West.
Also, "The author of over twelve books on the subject" has a funny...
Interesting, as this copy just went for $39...
Well, reading Ryan's post above, it appears he is no longer associated with the Bujinkan Brotherhood, aka the Canadian Mafia... If that's the case, then I would most definitely recommend training...
Mark,
Good deal acquiring Hatsumi sensei's approval for this venture. I'll be looking forward to the first few issues.
Jeff
I will say, having met and trained with him, that Ryan is a very talented martial artist. However, I do have issues with his affiliations...
Jeff
Just don't drink the kool-aid...
Jeff
Wow, there's a name I haven't seen in a while. Good luck with the new dojo!
Jeff
E-budo really needs a "Don't feed the troll" smiley...
Jeff
Phillip,
Check your dates. This thread has been around for a while, and that post was made in 12/2003...
Jeff
As it only took a few pages for Godwin's Law to come into play, and as neither side is going to budge, I think this thread has just about served its usefulness (if it ever had any...)
Jeff

I think what you're seeing is a backlash to the stereotypical macho BJJ-student attitude that they can beat anyone. As I commented above, I think it's important to be familiar with...
Chris and Jeff are very good. Nice group of people training with them too...
Jeff
Agreed, it wouldn't be a good idea to initiate that type of fight in a bar, or on the street. Still, it's good to know the techniques in case you are taken down or fall...
Jeff
Well, I've seen quite a few barfights go to the ground, not that I agree with the mythical 90% figure. In most cases, it's because one or both combatants are drunk and have poor balance, or one...
I did a quick search, and was unable to find the original post by Dale Seago, who is a senior Bujinkan instructor in the SF area. However, I did find this thread , where John Lindsey weighs in with...
I love you guys. Let's all hold hands, sing some protest songs and light candles...
NOT
Jeff
If it's a legitimate question, fine. But the trolls and newbies who ignore the suggestions they're given ("I'm too lazy to search, just tell me the answer") deserve to be flamed...
Jeff
The Internet is one of the few places that is still (relatively) free from the PC Police. Next you'll be demanding that we call them chronologically-challenged internet denizens.
Jeff
Well, given that our friend 6 pack was posting in this thread 6 months ago, I think we've got ourselves a troll...
Jeff
The OP was directed to use the search function and find answers and essentially replied with, "I looked and didn't see anything I liked, so tell me what I want to hear."
He should make use of the...
