Yeah, I should have thought of it... but when I got it, it feels so smooth I didn't know whether I was feeling the wood itself or some finish. So I assumed it was just the wood that I was feeling.

Thanks for the info, we do the overhead block in the first set with a lifting twist of the wrist... is that what you mean? Such that there is no edge to edge contact, but rather the block is affected...
