Thank you for your reply, Peter and Anders.
I know and I really regret that I can't go.

Hi,
as far as I know soon the new grading system will be established. Up to now I know quite a few. It would be nice if someone could explain some details:
- There will be 6 Kyu-grades in...
Thanks a lot for the answers...
Hi,
are there types of elbow strikes called 'empi uchi' in Shorinji Kempo? Up to now I thought the name of elbow strikes is 'hiji ate'. The Tokuhon/Fukudoku-hon kihon techniques list also don't...
I had really liked to take part, but unfortunately I didn't manage to come this time. I wish you a lot of fun and hope to be able to come next time...
It would be great to take part, but unfortunately I didn't find any accommodation which fits my (financial) needs ... Do you have any recommendations concerning cheap places to stay in or near...
Hi,
do you already have any idea about the participation fee and whether there will be a possibility for sleeping in training hall or similar?
Thank you and happy new year to everyone ...
I visited e-budo quite seldom in the last month and also now I only read few posts, but especially since the "BSKF-thing", I have the impression to read several posts saying (more or less direct)...
Together with other kenshi I did talk to someone from Central America who is studying here in Berlin some weeks ago. He seemed to be friendly and it was nice to talk to him. So we did invite him to...
Not really a question, more a thought:
If one as a kenshi/martial artist is tall and strong, with big wrists, it's probably easier to perform some kind of nuki waza for example, because it's more...
Thanks for the answers.
What does this mean?
Good point ...
Also a good point ...
If one is grabbing another one, there is probably a special intention... for example just pull/push/hold - but perhaps also to pull one into a punch or kick. I know that some juho techniques are...
... but there one can't see not very much details mostly. So I think that to learn from them is more or less difficult - there's better material. Does anyone know whether there are/was more books like...
I also think that the more or less public materials are a very good promotion for Shorinji Kempo (and also a source for kenshi) ... and that Shorinji Kempo isn't the "only truth". A lot of other...
If we'll have one, we'll do ... and send you.
yeah - the good old days ... ;)
I like it really - a thing that should be done more often in my view. Could be seen a little bit as military, but it's very rousing(?) and impressive ... and it...
I did enjoy this gasshuku also a lot.
I'm interested in the origins of the "march-thing". I suppose that it has originally nothing to do with Shorinji Kempo, right?
No, it isn't ... just the other people and yourself. Furthermore things which seem to be bad (at least in the view of others) are perhaps/for real very good things.
This is what I also heard. But on the other hand Shorinji Kempo could also get a negative image, if someone is teaching something false (why ever) and because of that someone gets hurt. So in my...
Apart from the question, in how far the teaching of non Shorinji Kempo "seiho" in relation with Shorinji Kempo is useful/good, is it in my opinion not good to have no curriculum and (perhaps) no...
For me it is much more fun to train with dogi, at least in dojo. I feel more concentrated and motivated. ... What about people who don't want to wear a dogi? Is it ok or should they be asked to wear...
I'm not sure whether this has already been discussed...
My question is, whether one is asked to do more than just training/more than just sport? Has one to be interested in the philosophy and to...
I think that for soto uke one needs tensed muscles on the outside. This one can do better with making a fist (at least me). Another point is that it would be dangerous for the (open) fingers (in the...
Just to know whether I understand what you mean: In this case the front knee doesn't point in the same direction like the arm/fist of the jun zuki (but like you wrote more inwards.), right?
I don't think that this is enough to be a good Shorinji Kempo kenshi. Ones intention by doing for example some of these "things" is also important. Commitment is a good thing as long as one does it...
