Anyone got any thoughts on last nights show?
I believe that Ed Lomax is 15th dan now.
'And what should he have mentioned?????'

Call me thick (or unexperienced using the search function) but I can't find any of your stuff on the bbs's
It would be interesting to see what a 'western' doctor would say about kyusho strikes compared to what a specialist in eastern medicine would say, that's for sure. But continued strikes to the head...
Ok. Out of personal interest could you give your definition of a kyusho technique? As I mentioned before, I have heard a few different definitions of the term, and I am always happy to hear more.
OK.. Fair enough. But you have to take these things in context. I agree that a very fast brutal assault will probably mean that specific strikes to specific kyusho will not be possible. However, of...
Just for anyone that is interested..
Um.. All I'm saying is that you could go to him. He's not going to worry about what you think.. Instead of just blowing it out of the water maybe you could do it purely out of interest?
But then...

Hi Will,
There appears to be a growing number of Hatsumi/Budo Taijutsu files appearing on the P2P networks recently... However, downloading them is pretty much considered as piracy..

Lots of flashy capoeira style stuff here, but did through it and you'll see what this guy can do.. He leaps ontop of a trash bin that's the same height as him.....
Have a look at Ken hardings web site (can't remember what it is but a google search should do it)..
Cheers,
Gary
Hi Paul,
Can't believe no-one else responded to this.. I'm more than a bit excited about seeing the Takamatsu vid.
Hope the seminar goes well..

"Just a quick question -
If you are in Kumi-Uchi - the opponents left hand should be on your right elbow. Why would anyone who has your right elbow let you jab them in the neck with your right...
If you're in kumi-uchi (the judo style hold).. Take a small step back with the left leg, pulling on the Uke's right arm/sleeve. At the same time drive boshi into the uke's neck (left side) with right...
I think that CC has a good idea about posting the vids on the web..

Gary
PS: I'll be the first to admit that I'd get my arse kicked whilst grappling..
Remember Boshi-Ken to the side of the neck.. lovely.
