I thought Id make an effort to keep all these interesting videos of interesting karate kata in tournaments or even in non-tournament settings in one thread for easy searching purposes.

Anyone else is encourage to contribute. Please try to included the title on the heading section and a brief description of the link you submitted to avoid double posting of the links.

Ill Start and hopefully the rest will follow and turn this thread into a big library of Kata compilations found all over the net.

I'll start since nobody has gave any clips yet. First, this website has the best videos I've seen on the Internet by far. Second, it has lots of info about Okinawan Karate.

Not much added to the label of the video. I assumed its Shotokan due to the emblem of on the wall. This video has bunkai included.

Gene Villa Sensei preforms Gekisai Dai Ichi, Gekisai Dai Ni, Saifa, Seiyunchin and Shisochin with front and side views. I think I've seen members at my dojo preform better than him.

These videos are from Shitoryu Cyber Academy. One will find them at the bottom of the page. Most of the Goju Ryu kata is there too, however with some slight differences.

They're not goju kata, they're Shito Ryu kata. Miyagi and Mabuni were friends and both studied under Higaonna.

Interesting seeing those kata videos from the shitokai website. Just from the ones I know (I can't belive how many katas I dont know yet) there are some minor differnces in some and some major diferences in others. I noticed that in Matsumura Ha Rohai the only real difference is that after the grab we just do a double punch but the version on the video shows forward into shiko-dachi kentsui and cross punch (across the stomach can't remember what its called). I wonder why that variation exists. Lots of little things I noticed in the other katas, makes me wonder where these variations are coming from.
