In so far as I am aware, there are indeed dojos still teaching Niten Ichi-ryu. One that comes to mind is Mr. Kim Taylor sensei who has experience in Hyo Ho Niten Ichi-ryu.

The following is an extract from Taylor sensei's web site for the Sei Do Kai

We have been fortunate to have the instruction, over the last several years, of Matsuo Haruna of Okayama prefecture in Japan. Haruna sensei is the chief instructor at the Musashi dojo in Ohara village. The dojo is next door to the Musashi Museum.
    I'm sure there are others.

    Hi Flo,
By far the best place to learn about Niten Ichi Ryu is on Hyakutake Colin's web site. He has quite a bit of information about it as well as lots of other good stuff. Here's a link ... http://www.bunbun.ne.jp/~sword/

Imai sensei often visits Colin to train down there. I hope to see him myself when I am over. Several of my friends here in England are trying to learn this, and have visited Imai sensei's dojo. I've tried myself but some of the stances are a little too hard for my bad knees to take... I'll stick to what I'm doing and follow the old proverb, 'jack of all trades, master of none' ( not that I'll ever be a master!

Why are you reading this instead of being out training? No excuses accepted...
