    Question ki ken tai ichi

    spirit-sword-body-one

I would like to view this in Japanese. The Dojo I have visited has this banner hung on a wall. I would like to view it over the web. Can anyone direct me to a site where I can see this. I would like to show my wife this written in Japanese.

    Thanks!

If your Web browser can read Japanese (select "Japanese Auto-select" on the "Encoding" toolbar icon), here it is.

If not, I'll post a graphic in a moment.

    Default Ki

I used the older "Ki" kanji there. I like it best because it contains the symbol for "rice" (the staff of life).

Here is the simplified version of "Ki" which may be what was on the banner at the dojo you visited:

    Default Edomoji

Finally, here it is in a free-flowing calligraphic style called Edomoji.

Can you tell I'm having fun with my Japanese wordprocessor?
