    Hi all,

Just came across and picked up a book called:

    "Shinto - The Kami Way"
    by Dr. Sokyo Ono
Charles E. Tuttle Company, ISBN 0-8048-1960-2

It looks like a good little introduction to Shinto. The author was a professor at Kokugakuin Daigaku (Shinto university in Tokyo) and has lectured for the National Association of Shinto Shrines.

Anyone read this and have any comments?

It is easy enough to understand a strategy and guard against it after the matter has already been settled, but the reason an opponent becomes defeated is because they didn't learn of it ahead of time. This is the nature of secret matters. That which is kept hidden is what we call the Flower."

It's a good book; sort of the "Reader's Digest" of Shinto. I've had a copy in my library for years.
