    Musashi's shuriken art was basically knife throwing, and was called Enmei Ryu, which was probably the umbrella name for all his own techniques at some stage.

    There are historical documents mentioning Musashi's skill with throwing a short knife...don't have them handy since I am at work.

    Musashi is reputed to have thrown his short sword and pinned a kenetsu ho (Old Japanese coins with square hole) to the wall.







































































































    This was to pay for the chopsticks he ruined catching the flies. You can find this information on historical ducuments published on wikipedia
