Thread: E-Budo history

    Default E-Budo history

So, I was reminiscing with an old E-budo member "Yamato damashi" and I was wondering, what year was this forum founded?

I was on a BBS called something to the effect of Martial arts TOC discussion where most of the original E-budo people were from. I seem to remember it being spammed heavily so this forum was created to continue the discussions.

I am saying it was mid 90's we were on TOC, he says no way because he was in the military then, but remembers being here in 2001 or so.

Do I remember that correctly? If I am right, then I can figure, round abouts, when the TOC bbs was killed.

Not that it is important or anything, just curious.

How is everyone? Good to see this forum still running!

E-Budo was founded in early 1999 sometime around February.

Was that in response to the other forum being difficult to commuicate on? or did it exist previously?

I know a number of people from the TOC bbs came here and seemed to be the core of this forums membership.

I want to say it was either Yamato Damashi, John Lindsy, or MC Busman who invited me here. I can't fully remember now.

I remember back then we talked a lot about Ashida Kim, Frank Dux and some other blatant fraud, but I can't remember who (besides Chung Moo Quan).
