    Default Aikijujutsu Throws

Some powerful, concussive, fluid throws as presented in Hontai Hakkei Ryu Aikijujutsu. The setups include off-balancing aiki kuzushi... taking the center of mass upon contact. There are some very interesting sutemi waza in there, too. Enjoy!

These nage waza come directly from koryu, but are infused with aiki that did not exist in the original systems that generated the waza. The concussive internal power in jujutsu waza was introduced by Okazaki Shuji (Salahuddin Muhammad's teacher), as a result of the aiki he had learned from his Daito ryu teacher, Yoshida Kotaro.

If you listen to the teki/uke, you will hear his gutteral grunt the instant nage makes contact... aiki kuzushi that takes his breath.

Agreed, when AIKI is applied correctly it will always take the breath. Gutteral noises are often heard as is the extreme difficulty in breathing.
