    Default Budo and Non-Action

Learning budo is about learning action, action to escape, to control, strike, to throw. But what about those times when doing nothing is the best course of action? Can you stand in peace? When itís best, can you do nothing?

Thatís what this blog post is about.

What do you think? Are you able to do nothing?

There is another option with fight or flight, and that is freeze.

We must take care not to confuse non-action with inaction, or freezing or hesitating. Non action is still very active. Inaction is not.

Not that your piece is saying that at all, Peter, only adding some layers to the concept from my perspective.
