    The kanji for ken/tsurugi (剣)...

    The kanji for ken/tsurugi (剣) is different than the one for tou/chi/katana (刀).

    I'm not sure about "tachi", is it written as "large chi" (太刀)? If so, is "kodachi" written(?太刀)? :)
